Model Gallery / 1/400 Musai Light Cruiser
« on: January 14, 2006, 05:11:50 PM »
has anyone played the game MObile Suit Gundam: Encounters in SPace? According to that game, when the Zaku is lauched, it's in agreement with what MArk says, the Zaku lies face up against one of the sides inside of the Musai, and is then launched on a catapault. who knows how to do screen caps from video games?

Model Talk / Group Build Suggestions

how bout a GM/Junk Bot build? Your only allowed to use a basic GM, and you customize it according to what pieces are handy.

Hi, I hope I posted this in the right forum, if not sorry. I purchased some engine cleaner/degreaser, and I was wondering how long does the stuff last? I recently stripped my Guncannon and I was wondering if the remains of the cleaner where still usable for another model. This is how the cleaner looks after.

This is horrible, Erix, I offer my deepest condolences, your dio is, was, and always will be a work of art, and I agree with everyone, that action must be taken, the promoters set up these competetions to get more interest into modelling building, and if this is how they reward those who help spread the word with their blood and sweat, then something must be done, we must not allow ourselves to go unheard, I say that a boycott is needed. Concerning the apology letter that was sent for the hummingbird, all they said was sorry? no atemptt at reprapation was made, only a letter saying sorry? That is un-excusable.

Model Gallery / photography thingy

photography can't really be taught out of a book, the best way to learn is to just go wild with your camera, and get more expericence, but you have some very nice crisp shots. You really don't need to improve yours shots.

The modeling cement has been deemed so-so, I'll post pics as soon as I borrow my friends cannon digital EOS rebel

sorry fitchenfoo, I thought that my post would belong here, it's a generic brand of model cement. the company is Super GLue corporation, PAcer technology

hey everyone, I just got back from the 99 cents store, and while I was there, you won't beleive what I found. I found model cement and sticky tack! Tomorrow I shall try out the cement on my entry to the SD contest. and I shall report my findings to my fellow modeling brethren. well, later people

I love that double exposure you have in there, really nice. I have one that I did in color by accident, it's of the front of my old high school, and the ghost image is of some SD's I built

Holy cow, awesome leg mods, does he still walk?
I have a command wolf too, but I'm using the double barreled cannons on my Guncannon.
As Tim Allen from Tool Time would say "More Power!"

Model In-Progress / more work done
« on: September 27, 2005, 08:55:12 PM »
Got one thing done today, got rid of the commanders atennae (sp?) from the Gelgoog, didn't like the look of it, this project might take me a long while, seeing as I only have three days a week to work, fri-sun, it's my freshman year in college. Arrrgh, to many classes, so little modeling time, hopefully I can have the gelgoog done by mid oct, tomorrow I shal grab my dad's work cam and take some nice blow your mind pics. :o
I first started going on the gundamshop forums when I was like in 8th grade, around the time GW came out, and I remember seeing a lot of these very same modelers posting there, I think Pcell was there, Jester, FichtenFoo. and then I remember alot of the same people from CMC, Bhop, I e-mailed you once asking about your valkriye model, okay, I'm getting off topic here, I better shut up now.

Model Talk / FIREPOWER
« on: September 27, 2005, 05:44:45 PM »
I like to customize mine with lots of FIREPOWER, with my last completed model, a GM Kai Type C, I added missiles and a double gaitling to the shield, the missiles where taken from my old 1/144 Heavyarms custom along with a double gaitling gun

Model In-Progress / thanks
« on: September 26, 2005, 05:38:32 PM »
THanks, this is my first major mod, I also plan to alter the shield but I'll wait to take a pic of that

MY brothers camera is a hunk of junk, I'll try to see if I can get his camera to work better. I mostly use 35mm film for my pics, so I'm not that use to digital cameras

Model In-Progress / Mobile Suit Gundam: Artic Fox
« on: September 26, 2005, 10:34:18 AM »
Hey everyone, I currently have an idea for a gundam photo comic, and I've started work on some of the models that will be involved. The comic will take place in the artic, so most shots will be shot in the winter if I can get a ride to the moutains. The first model that I am working on is the OYW Gelgoog, What I've done so far is to cut the double beam saber in half. What I plan to do is to change the wrist things which look like a vent of some sort into a vulcan gun, or if that doesn't work, make the arm things into a beam saber holster somehow, any suggestions will be appreciated. Another model and mod that I'm working on is replacing the puny cannons on the MG Guncannon, with the cannons from the Zoids Command Wolf, I'm thinking of attaching that to the guncannon with a sprue which is drilled through the two red walls that the cannon is housed in.

I'll post pics when I can.
