Blue Destiny was actually series of 3 games on the sega saturn I think, and the manga is the adaptation of the first game

just a suggestion I'd say for the body, you might wanna try using a brown for the panel lines

I gotta check out that hotel, but for close-up pics of small parts, use the macro function on the camera, it will help immensely, the icon for macro looks like a flower
