A long time coming but it's finally done, the prototype Gundam GP01 inside the Hillside Hangar :

Extensive modding to the kit was done including pla-plating and scribing panel lines as well as adding an extra V-Fin and a special eye. Most of the base was scratch built using styrene sheets, rod and tubes. The figures used were HO scale railway figures. More info on the build can be found on the completed page linked above which also includes a video of the completed build in my new video 'Model Showcase' series.

Thoughts, suggestions and comments are welcome so let me know what you think! :D

That base and the GP01 turn out great. Love the weathering and all of the mods you use on it.

Really like the whole 'prototype' Gundam idea, model looks great! Loving the hangar too, only criticism being the handrails seem out of scale. Great weathering too, nice one!
