hey guys
I just wanted toi put my two cents in aboiut the new zaku MG !
This thing is the most amazing build I have ever had from a MG kit and I've just done the inner frame. I'm so stoked about the outer armor. I cna't say enought good thing about this kit!
I'll take pics and what not, and post them
This thing is the greatest so far!!!
Hopefully the Turn A will match the level of coolness this kit has.

I have to say, I feel like the Federation Anti-MS team should come with a Zeon MS arm. :P  But it does look very nice.  Swap out the Zaku head from the Ramba Ral set, maybe...

Just found this pic of RGM-79 OYW version.  http://daha7811.egloos.com/1927538  Scroll down to the next pic and there it is.  Looks... a lot like the old RGM but with more panel lines and I guess more mobility.

It looks to be a B-Club conversion kit for the RX-78 OYW model.

Came out almost two years ago:
GM Conversion kit for MG Gundam (game version)

It really doesn't look that much like the old MG GM.  The old MG GM was sleek.  This thing's much more stocky.

Here they are... the 1/144 initial releases from Gundam 00.

http://www.famitsu.com/anime/news/2007/06/14/681,1181819986,73434,0,0.html

I like em, but will hold out for 1/100's and MGs. ;-) The large leg armor on the one, like a Hockey Goalie... I was planning that for my Pandora. :( Ahh well.

The Exia has beam sabers coming out the wazoo. I mean literally. Look at the bum. And I agree about the chests... pretty cool.

Ok, I'm officially happy about that new show, those designs are just cool.
Not Seed, not UC, they remid me of Gudam X mixed with SRW, especially the mechas from the latest one on DS:

Look at the knees of the  fat one, just like the  Gundam Virtue. Funny, I was also planning on doing something like that on a kit someday...great minds think alike
The Exia might be the least exciting one...
The feet are not boring or ugly like Seed's were, and I enjoy that
Can't wait to see the bad guys and the cannon fodders.
Michael, were did you see those are 1/144?

Ummm... I didn't actually *see* that there, but have known about these first kits for a week or so now. The first releases are 1/144 and later there will be 1/100's. Or so I've been told.  :shifty:

The designs are pretty cool and I honestly like the Exia best. Why? Probably for the same reason I like the Strike and Impulse. They're basic units without all the additional fluff. No uber-shields, no buster-cannons, no pointy bits everywhere... just your basic slimmed-down Gundam. Those are great bases for mods, add-ons, etc... (Sword, Launcher, IWSP, Noir, etc... Shinobi Strike!)

LOL I didn't notice....
Oh wow, imagine the many, many jokes we could come up with that one...
*thinks about a corny joke*
So the latest gundam like UPS?
The goods are delivered to the rear. :yucky:

Sorry couldn't resist.

Well beside Mr. Cankles, the calves look very feminine. Not that theres anything wrong with that. Very sleek design...

I'm actually pretty optimistic about this show.  Good director, unique mecha, and hopefully a good story.  I still wish they'd do something more like 08th MS Team though.  Something grittier, more realistic, and without the super high tech suits that can defy physics, and wipe out trillions of dollars worth of military hardware in a few seconds of gymnastically jumping around.
Those who believe in telekinetics, raise my hand.

Yea I'm going to wait to see how the show feels, but I can dig were it's going. If it doesn't work out I can use the kits for bashing. The chest is super nice! Although the legs, feet, and sword along with the green variation brings back horrid memories of seed.
Hey, how's it going?

these are all pre-production scratchbuilt 1/60 kits. You can't quite read the tags due to the glare, but you can at least make out the scale on the placard, which is two digits, even if the digits are hard to see. It's a good showcase of the designs, but I remain curious as to how the kits will actually look.

*Rant*I'm just glad they dropped the non-graded no-joint kit concept from Seed. It leaves such a bad taste in my mouth that they would waste all that time making them when they could have focused that time on making a few HG versions of the stragglers... I want my HG Strike Dagger. T__T*End Rant*

Hey, at least you got modern kits of most of the Seed MS, right?  Try finding a kit of the Aries, Cancer, Virgo, Maganac, or Pisces from Gundam Wing...  Yeah, they don't exist.  But from Seed there's not only the Ginn, but the CGue, Goohn, Guaiz, Bacue, Dinn, and the Dagger...  not exhaustive for sure but it ain't too shabby either.  And, believe me, re-jointing a kit like that is a whole lot easier than scratchbuilding it.  In the case of the Dagger, you also have the HG Dagger kit to work with - it's different from the Strike Dagger but close enough that it'd be a pretty simple kitbash...
