yeah the testament is really nice..i mean...evilll~ but it' kinda hard to be doing that in PG format...just really not up to it yet.
about the akatsuki, yeah~~ really neat to be doing that, but then i dont have any PG strike available currently, only have thi wing PG which i'm sketching out to be doing a PG crossbone.
doing it just for fun to see if i manage to nail it down rather than just leaving the wing collecting dust under my bed.

the striker pack i've seen somewhere...ii think it was featured in hobby japan mag...someone scratchbuilt it for the MG strike...i think it's the seed special issue...but i swear i've seen it somewhere before.. the pack's color is the same as the ?IWSP...grey with white linings..

yeah.,...the pricing at YJ is just insane, sometimes i wonder how the heck they came up with that kind of money to pay for a small kit such as the 1/144 scales?

anyways, after seeing my buster, someone gave me an i dea on doing the astray amatsu.
man, the design is really tempting but to be doing the backpak/wings is simply hard, but taht;swhere my skills on scratchbuilding will be tested.

really eager to be doing one, heh, any 'candidates'?? ahahah

the kit will be passed to the fella tomorrow night~~
so stay tune for the completed pictures tomorrow~~

it depends on the workload i've to put through for this job.
i've already set the price in my head, but then, just need to know what you guys have in mind about the charges on this sucka, excluding the PG strike price. not that i'm gonna change the price once i've heard the ones you have in mind, just need to look at it in different perspectives.

wire mesh? hmm...seems like a nifty idea but then the 'camera' behind it owuld be hidden..i think i'll skip the idea.
about the primer i use, i se gunze sangyo's mr resin surfacer (red labeled bottle)

thinning ratio is 30:70 (70 thinner)

it's far thicker than the blue bottled one...if thinned done inaccurately, it might causes the primer to 'powder' up on the surface...not a good thing heh...

a side note, the shrinkage of resin primer is far greater than normal plastic make sure the filled in gaps are really 'strong' if not it might crack...

i prime just to see if there are anyflaws which need to be touched up. as for painting, yeap, take apart all the parts and pieces and spray em piece by piece.

some updates

lower part of the chest has been modified by adding some miliput.this is just a rough one, will smoothen out the edges and add the remaining upper portion for testfitting purposes late struggling to get some ideas on how to fit int the chest verniers.

rear skirtings done

the groin armor is redefined by giving some sharp edges instead of roundish..trign to step out a lil of the original design.

the lower knee guard are done...needs some detailings afterwards...
more updates to come~~

thanks for the comments guys.

like OYWM said, i used standard yellow/grey fine to me~~

pr_plecow, cover the internals? which part? i dont cover any of the internals...i just cut em out.

mechaneil, the cannons will follow the beecraft's design as seen in the strike PG manual. the picreferences might be very limited since there's only 1 pic, but i'll try my best to give it best definition. will be scratchbuilding the cannons using plastic tubes styrene sheets and lotsa epoxy putty..

will keep updated once finish some minor mods on my V2.

more pics~~!!:

front portion of the lower torso.
the tubes are from plastic tubes cut into desired size and gled together.
the black piece on top of it is from the frame of the lower torso which i cut out so that can make way for the groin armor to fit in. heh, seemes sawed off pieces are really reuseable~~!!

rear of the lower torso.
the blue part is actually from strike's back. just put it there to give spice to the vernbier details wchih can be spotted on normal buster.

as mentioned earlier, this is how it looks like after the visor has been sharpened after epoxy putty was added.

how the rear portion of the leg looks liek after some detailings were done. the legs have been put up until here only and currently i'm concentrating on doing the cannons.

this is the entire progress of how buster looked like 3 weeks ago.

comments are welcome so that i can spice up this buster more~~!!
