I really like the non-canon paint and markings. The whole kit is nice, but seeing something so recognizable with a new take on the details is great!

I like that there are multiple things going on in the diorama. It really gives the impression of several stories going on at once.

I didn't notice the red wall being too clean until it was pointed out. It does seem on the clean end of the spectrum now though.

I'm looking forward to seeming more of this!

I've missed the quality work that was always on these forums. I'm glad they're back!

Thanks so much, that helps.

I have the Yamato 2199 Fighter Kits in 1/72 but I haven't started them yet. I was surprised that the older 1/100 kits seem to cost as much or more than the newer 1/72 from the new series.

That does look like a nice model though, and it would match the 1/100 kits I have laying around in scale which would be nice.

I've seen these online for sale. 1/100 seems like it would be sooo small though? Can you tell me the total length of the model, or post a pic with something for scale?

Very impressive! Especially at that size.

When I saw the title of the thread, I thought that must be a typo, or a pretty small Schnellboot. I guess it was the latter.

Very nice, I approve!

It sure makes me miss Homeworld though...

I can't wait to see these start coming together. Hand painting? Good luck!

This is going to be awesome!

The movie is great too. I love the humor in it. You can buy it on dvd/blu-ray in the US and it may still be on Netflix instant watch.

With paint and decals it's looking fantastic! I wasn't sure how much I'd like based on the shape of the kit, but I'm really coming around as you progress on it.

Nice tank! I agree that the excellent weathering gives it back the sense of reality that the paint scheme could easily have taken away.

Thanks Dave! I was looking at some old Citadel catalogue scans and I think the terminators must be one of the designs GW have changed least over the last twenty years.

I still remember the cut-away dioramas from the Rogue Trader era very fondly. I thought they were Mike McVey's work but apparently they were by Dave Andrews?

Great work on the termies.

In regards to your link, I'm pretty sure the top picture is a McVey diorama. The bottom may be Andrews though. There used to be so many awesome dioramas in White Dwarf and the game books back then. I miss those days!

Beautiful work! I'm speechless.

I'd like a fleet of these! My wallet, not so much. I'll have to grab one when things settle down around my house. Truly a work of art!

Nice! I like the base it's on as well, it helps to give it a sense of scale.
