A slightly modified fun build. I added Lionroar tool clasps, DML indy links from another StuG kit, and scratchbuilt samurai flags using stretched sprue and greenstuff putty. I plan to reprint the stock cloth flags into decals and paint what I can instead. The cloth flags just aren't convincing enough for me.

And here it is beside another WIP of mine :sarcasm:

Like the flags a lot they look really cool. You might have to beef up the armor though or it will be no match for Scooby!

I'm not into tanks, but was tempted by Girls und Panzer too.
Will be watching.

Update: Painted the whole thing. Next is detail painting, then decals, then weathering and topcoat. I opted for slightly muted colors for a grittier look.

Got around to applying the decals and finishing the sashimono. The kanji in the flags are all handpainted. Next up is painting the flagpoles, wheels, and exhaust.

You win this round... In the face of the box art I think your colour choices show admirable restraint :)

Now I'm sad that you didn't go with the outrageous colours.

But it's looking great still, with the decals and all, you're almost there. And you must have a pretty steady hand for painting the kanji.
