That would be the Mr. Hobby Top Coat.

This was an experiment in trying to shade light colours for me. I was going for as subtle shading on the pink as possible, but I really wanted to make my body lines show up because I didn't do panel lines.

Thanks for you compliments!

I couldn't agree more. Your panels lines are really clean, especially on the Guntank. Those tracks looks amazing!

Way to go on that Ball btw, I hadn't read it's not a newer kit. Must've been annoying to build with all that puttying.

Now those are my kind of kits! Straight out of the TV show. I love it. People tend to crap on HGUC's, but there is actually a lot of work that goes into making them look so clean. Definately not boring to me. Great job!

I made this a while ago to try out my new airbrush. It only took about 5 hours and it's a great, easy kit! I want to make a better one sometime, maybe a MS IGLOO version.

I really like it. The white panel lines on the black feet look awesome. The base is also very nice, maybe paint or do something to the sides of the base though. If it's mdf I find big sharpies are a fast, effective way of cleaning that up!

More, slightly better pics. Sorry I'm no great photographer  :yucky:.

I took my time with this, about 35-40 hours over three weeks. I had to scratch build the knee joints and make all the hosing with wire by hand. The original hosing is seem infested PE garbage, so I made my own. The head is slightly raised and the arms are modified to except my custom hosing.

This is my second gundam since getting my new airbrush and my first painted gundam where I did panel lines (even so, subtlety is my game). It is also my first time scratchbuilding/modifying parts.

I really feel my colour scheme has captured the Z Gundam look. Sorry the pics aren't great, all I can do at the time. Please comment and leave advice!

It looks fantastic. How did you get those edges to do that? did you do a base coat in desert yellow and sand off the top colour or did you use a thin paint?

Really superb.

EDIT: Sorry I wasn't more clear. I mean the lighter 'sandy colour' on the darker green giving it that weathered effect on the edges (shoulders for example). I have only seen weathering going light to dark, the opposite of yours.

I think it looks excellent. From the pictures I could hardly see the seam on the rifle at all. Sucks about that decal.
