Forum Design » Mig Productions

Posted on Thursday, February 5, 2009 by Michael Fichtenmayer.

Mig Productions is a company whos modeling products I use a lot and love. When I found out a few years back that they had a forum I joined up to learn from some of the best modelers in the world. That forum and their old hosting provider however didn’t work so well. Frequent crashes and errors made many users frustrated. I promoted my services to the owners and eventually they contracted me to find them a new host and improve their forum. I upgraded them to the latest version of PhpBB (version 3) and modified a theme to suit the style of the rest of their site. So far these past few months the site is working great and everyone is very happy. No more crashes and far less spambot sign-ups. I remain an admin and assist them with any forum related issues they need assistance with. View Site »

Company Website » Finleys Fun Centers

Posted on Friday, January 30, 2009 by Michael Fichtenmayer.

Finley’s had an outdated website which was hard to navigate and was in need of a change. I designed their new website to have a fun kid-friendly look and to be easy for parents to find the information they’re looking for. The Flash navigation give this site a whimsical and fun feel to it.

Company Website » HR Connections

Posted on Wednesday, January 28, 2009 by Michael Fichtenmayer.

Another freelance website for a division of Kentucky’s The Job Shop. With this site, I was given sample pages designed by the client depicting what the client wanted. I worked with the client to clean-up the original design into what is now their live site. Once the design was finalized, all images and content were then supplied by the client. Visit Site »

Company Website » The Job Shop

Another freelance website, and the parent company to TSS and Draftech whos websites I have designed as well. The Job Shop wanted a clean, professional, yet friendly look to their website. They also wanted the same Flash banner included on this site. Images are stock photography provided to me by the client. Visit Site »

Company Website » Technical Staffing Solutions

Posted on Monday, January 26, 2009 by Michael Fichtenmayer.

A freelance project for Kentucky-based TSS; a staffing company. I was given mostly free reign over the design of the site and my contact at TSS supplied me with all of the content and photos for the site. I worked within their pre-programmed database system to creat a “skin” to apply to this site giving it a fresh clean and welcoming look.

Company Website » Draftech Software Training

Posted on Sunday, January 25, 2009 by Michael Fichtenmayer.

A freelance project for Kentucky-based Draftech; a software training company. I was given mostly free reign over the design of the site and my contact at Draftech supplied me with all of the content and photos for the site. I utilized a good deal of CSS and Dreamweaver templates to make this site easier for my client to update.
